Welcome to the Floret Birth & Postpartum Village.
A space created where you are cared for, nurtured, and prioritised through all the seasons of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum by Georgie, a full spectrum birth and postpartum doula.
A mother, needs both hands to hold her baby. Let’s be the arms that hold her up, to ease the weight of her worries, offer comfort to her mind and body, and empower her innate ability to nurture.
Floret Birth & Postpartum
Meet Georgie.
I felt the strongest calling to this role after experiencing transitions into motherhood that came with both love and grief, and I have found my feet so firmly planted in this space ever since.
As your birth and postpartum doula, my role is to nurture you emotionally and physically, be an educated sounding board for the overwhelm of informational resources available to pregnant and postpartum women, to support your desires for how you want to birth and be cared for in your fourth trimester, and to provide your partner and family the same support as they find their feet in their new role.
I live on Gadigal Country, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs with my husband and our son, and alongside my work as a doula I am a practicing Registered Nurse working with adults, children and newborns. I also have a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Psychology), which informs my practice to protect the mental wellbeing of all of my clients.

Behind the name.
A floret is a small flower, which in partnership with other florets makes up the head of a larger flower. A mother needs the unwavering support, wisdom and love of her village during birth and postpartum, just as a floret needs theirs to thrive into full bloom.
A doula is your unwavering support, who alongside your village nurtures you through this rite of passage.
